The FIFA World Cup is more than just a sporting event, it’s a global celebration. Few competitions can bring together

The first FIFA World Cup took place almost a century ago, in the 1930s. Cinema was gaining sound and color, the world was emerging from a rough period, and sports were becoming an increasingly important part of public life. The Olympic Games, which had already been taking place for decades, could no longer accommodate the growing number of professional athletes emerging from every corner of the globe. As a result, the idea was born to create a tournament that would not only include professional players but also showcase the very best this sport had to offer. Thus, the first World Cup was held… and the world was changed forever.  A lot has changed since then.
